Information collected/used by Harland Clarke Digital

Client data
When a registered user logs in to any SaaS application offered by Harland Clarke Digital, our web server automatically recognizes the user and uses all information provided to allow them access to our services (including e-mail address and domain name). We collect the email addresses of those who register as users of our service and aggregate information on what pages they access or visit. The information we collect is used for internal review and is then discarded. It is used to improve the performance of our web services and to notify consumers about updates to our web site. It is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.

Website visitor data
Visitors to our website are tracked anonymously through a web analytics tool, which is used to record overall traffic statistics as well as visits to a particular page(s). Personally identifiable information is only collected when knowingly provided by site visitors who sign up to receive our newsletter, submit a form to download one of our various available resources, submit a form to receive a personal product demo from a member of our staff, submit a general inquiry form, register for an upcoming event or respond to an online survey. If referred from a known traffic source, such as a search engine, email campaign, social media network, or other ad campaign, website form submissions may include traffic source details. This is done strictly to measure the amount of traffic and/or inquiries driven via various sources of Harland Clarke Digital marketing efforts. Access to personally identifiable information is limited to select employees of Harland Clarke Digital, all of whom are well-versed in best practices regarding the proper handling of sensitive data. Harland Clarke Digital will never share personal information provided by site visitors—such as name, email address or phone number—with any third parties.

Harland Clarke Digital respects enhanced user privacy controls. We support the development and implementation of a standard "do not track" browser feature, which is being designed to provide customers with control over the collection and use of information by third parties regarding their web-browsing activities. At this time Harland Clarke Digital does not respond to DNT mechanisms. Once a standardized "do not track" feature is released, Harland Clarke Digital intends to adhere to the browser settings accordingly.  Except as otherwise described in this statement, personal information you provide on the site will not be shared outside of Harland Clarke Digital without your permission. To the extent we are legally permitted to do so, we will take reasonable steps to notify you in the event that we are required to provide your personal information to third parties as part of legal process.
